As the use of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) continues to grow it is important to have reliable ground fault monitoring for these systems. BESS are used to store power (often from a renewable source) for later use during a critical time, many times the renewable source is the solar through the use of PV arrays. These systems can have various grounding configurations that will determine the type of ground fault protection to be applied. Join us to learn about industry leading solutions to monitor these systems for various system configurations.

Key Topics Covered

  • Ungrounded BESS Systems

  • Ground fault Detection for PV Arrays

  • Automatic Location of Faults

  • Solidly Grounded BESS systems
